• Your email address

  To sign you in. The link we send is the only way in, so there is no password to store.

• What you tell us about your business

  Your answers to the questionnaire, the files you upload, and what you ask the assistant. They are what your site is built from, and kept so it can be rebuilt and edited.

• The sites themselves

  The pages, their versions, and the posts you write. Yours to publish, change or delete.

• Usage and costs

  Which builds and edits ran and what each cost us, so limits can be applied and problems found.

We use this to run the product and for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we read it only when something has gone wrong or you have asked us to.

The business that owns the site is responsible for it. We host it on their behalf, which makes us their processor for what the site collects.

• Pages opened

  Which page, the website that linked to it (its name only), and whether the screen was a phone, tablet or desktop. No cookie, no identifier, nothing that could recognise you on a second visit or on another site.

• What you send through a form

  Your name, contact details and message go to that business’s inbox and nowhere else.

• A password cookie

  Only on a site its owner has protected with a password, so you are not asked again for twelve hours.

These services do work for us and see only what that work needs:

• Supabase

  The database and sign-in.

• Cloudflare

  File storage, and serving the published sites.

• Vercel

  Hosting this app.

• Anthropic

  The language model that writes and edits the pages. It receives your answers and instructions, not your visitors’ details.

• GitHub

  Runs the machine that builds each site.

• Pexels

  Stock photography. We send search words, never anything about you.

For as long as you have an account. A site you delete sits in the trash until you empty it or restore it. Deleting your account removes your sites, their files, your uploads and your invite at once, and takes your published sites off the internet first. Backups roll off within [BACKUP RETENTION PERIOD].

You can see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, and object to how we use it. You can delete your account yourself, from its settings; for anything else, write to [CONTACT EMAIL]. If you are a visitor to a site made here, the business that owns it is who to ask first, and we will help them answer. You can also complain to [SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY].
